Hand of Christ

To some, this will be a heart wrenchingly beautiful image to them, because they (like us) understand what took place at the cross and are eternally grateful. But, you need to be aware that some people WILL take offence to it, perhaps because the thought of sacrifice disgusts them, or they simply can’t believe that such evils as rape or murder (which are written on the hand) can ever even be forgiven. Thankfully, that’s the point of this image, because it confronts people with the realities of the cross and the transaction that took place there, and should lead into some very interesting conversation for people who are either inquisitive about it or even repelled by it.
